It’s the dangerous kind of blind nationalism displayed abundantly by the public, press and politicians in response to the proposed Islamist protest march in Wooton Bassett which allows governments and authorities to commit crimes and atrocities against other nations and their own populations; it invariably justifies ’stronger measures’ which erode basic freedoms and human rights, it facilitates evil acts of war, terror and aggression such as we have seen in Iraq, Afghanistan and around the world, and it creates a political climate where the darkest and worst aspects of human nature can thrive in places of authority.
It is used as a tool to gain power and control by unscrupulous governments and shadowy figures of power, and blindly propagated and amplified by the ignorant masses of their national populations.
It reached it’s full measure in Nazi Germany and just like there, we are so blinded by it that we cannot even see how far down the road to fascism we ourselves have already been blindly herded.
It is an evil atmosphere which exists over and above those who think to use and control it and spreads across lands and nations like a sickening fog of death and decay, corrupting all in its’ path.
Often those of ‘faith’ and ‘principle’ are the first to fall because it insidiously appeals to certain elements of their belief systems so guard yourselves and WAKE UP to what is going on around us, we should be praying and speaking out against this evil rather than being corrupted by it ourselves!
Bootnote:
Although the march has now thankfully been cancelled, pressure was brought to bear by many MPs who signed a motion urging authorities not to allow the march to go ahead.
Whitehall are now considering banning Islam4UK by proscription under the Terrorism Act, while ‘moderate’ Muslim groups are lining up to denounce Chowdry and Islam4UK.
While I personally abhour Islam4UK and their stated beliefs and aims, I CANNOT stand back while my government engages in such oppression and persecution. Just as German Jews were forced to wear yellow stars of david, all Muslim groups in this country are now almost required to roll out the usual denunciations whenever somebody does or says something which brings more than mild criticism against our part in the ‘war on terror’.
I have no doubt that many thousands of Muslims around the country now feel obliged to display their own personal ‘crescent badge’ of verbal denunciation whenever the masses are stired up, just to feel safe in their communities, schools and workplaces, while deep down feeling oppressed and ashamed that they cannot freely and safely express their justified outrage at the crimes being commited against the people of Iraq, Afganistan and Palestine for fear of being branded ’extreamists’.
